Hair extensions getting cut?

Hi,

i just purchased some hair extensions for christmas for myself. i got them on ebay they are supposed to be 100% european human remi hair. they are 20 inches long and now i think that may be way too long i was wondering if you cut hair extensions does it make them look bad? and also i was wondering if this hair is any good for anyone who has used it.

by the way they are clip ins.

You can cut them if you want, but like you said go to a professional, ask them to do it. I made the huge mistake of cutting my clip ins for halloween, straight across for a mod look and i regret it, because now I wish the extensions were longer. Why don't you sale them to someone who wants long ones and get yourself shorter ones? And yeah, remy hair is the best kind of extensions. Depending on your height, I'd think 20 would be fine,if your short maybe too long. 20' are just right for me though..
