I like queen Helene Cholesterol hair conditioning cream!
You can get this at Sally's beauty Supply or you can get the Cholesterol cream in an off brand in any Dollar General Store. It isn't quite as good but it does work.

You may want to wash it and try a conditioning oil sheen spray if the hair is brittle. I personally use Luster's Pink oil moisturizer.
