Well, if you don't want to take down your ponytail, it might limit how much you can do.

When I had a ponytail that length, if I wanted to look "classier" or sophisticated, i would put it into a bun, and accent it with a flower or rhinestone barrette. Other than that, I would braid the hair into a few dozen mini braids and tuck it under and pin it with a bobby pin, or tie it with a rubber-band.
