I heard that humans have more hair on are body's then monkeys is this true?

I heard that humans have more hair on are body's then monkeys because are hair is lighter then monkey's it is not as noticeable I can't find any evidence to prove it or disprove it but I don't quit believe that it is true Please help!

I'm not sure if they have more or fewer hairs...but if one walked into my salon looking for a brazilian wax...I would charge extra...lol

Sort of. Humans have roughly the same number of hair follicles as chimpanzees; but the hair is shorter, finer, and - usually - lighter in color. Unfortunately I don't have a definite reference for you; it's one of those factoids that circulate. (I picked it up in my Comparative Vertebrate Anatomy course about 20 years ago.)
