A lady is going to put extensions in my hair for fifty dollars...?

I just have to pay for the hair. she told me a "hair store" to go to to get them and she said they should only be like 20 or 30 dollars. Is she talking about synthetic and if so how much is human hair and would they even sell it there?

ps: if your some stupid person trying to come up on here and say, "i don't know" or "i'm guessing..." because i really don't care if you don't know and I can guess just as well, if not better, than you! so please if you know the answer, answer. if ya don't.. why even say anything?

I'm from California and synthetic hair here is from $10-40 and human hair costs about $30-80 it all depends on the length and the quality..

Most stores sell both, and in case they don't sell human hair in the store your going to then take a look at it, sometimes they have really good quality synthetic hair that looks and feels real.

But don't get synthetic hair if your planning to curl or straighten it because it's just going to melt.. %26amp; human hair has a 'wavy' look after you wash it ..

Hope this helps.. Good Luck!!

Human hair is more exspensive than synthetic. It is better quality but it is kinda weird to wear. I would go with a good, natural feeling synthetic.

Ask the lady what she means so you get exactly what you are looking for.

and also human hair can get up to 300-1000 dollars(for the good kind) and also a girl that puts it in for 50 dollars probably isnt that good easily... 200 dollars or more!

That is good, but it might not look good to be honest with you.

The good kind is actually around 400+ into the thousands.

So its your choice really.

ok personally i love my yakki extensions but i would have to say that i like the human hair ones two bc they can be curled and staightend just like real hair...it all depends on what you like. you can always just go to the store and pick out extensions that feel the most like you real hair (its best to do it this way bc if not then it uber weird when you do your own hair)

Human hair is WAY more expensive than 20-30 dollars. It can be up to 300 depending on how much you get. But yes, you can find it at a beauty supply store.

Hair extensions done that cheap will look just that CHEAP.

Good Luck! Extensions are very time consuming and the hair alone cost a fortune so if she is oing to change you $50 bucks for the work then two things come to my mind..1) either she is new at this and you are her guinea pig or 2) she is experienced and sucks at it and either way you will be at risk. I hope you do knwo this person's work. If not then ask for references, or at least pics of real clients....bad extensions can look horrible, you might as well leave your hair alone or wear a wig.
