Well I study human evolution and I have never read anywhere were it says black people came from monkeys. All I know is that the ancestor of homonins and the ancestor of monkeys are believed to have branched off the same individual. And I hear some people say black people look like monkeys but I have never seen a monkey with kinky hair, dark brown skin and full round lips and with african curves. And in my human evolution class we told that human ancestors were light skinned when they first lost their fur and evolved darker skin to protect their skin from lthe sun. And she also told me that this variation of colour is just recent. Something about skin being plastic. So if you consider changing skin tone as some evolutionary miracle then I should get a nobal price because mine changes from dark brown to light brown everytime I travel sa to study. And if there is a monkey out there that looks like me then its pretty damn lucky cause God took his time making this dark beauty.

Carie is right, We all descended from black people and then according to the climate that our ancestors lived in, we acquired different skin tones. you see, in warmer region the skin needs to be protected from UV rays of sun, otherwise you will get skin cancer. Thats why people in africa acquired darker skin tone and people in colder regions like Europe and russia got lighter skin tone (in cold region skin doesnt need to make melanin- the skin pigment).
Some people are just mean and you should remind them that in any case they are descendent of africans too.
