Does tail and mane shampoo actually help your hair grow faster?

I heard from a friend that tail and mane shampoo (for horses) helps human hair grow faster. now before I go out and buy it myself (seeing how its not cheap) I am looking for a second opinion. Please only answerer if you know what tail and mane shampoo is, or if you have other methods of helping hair grow faster :)

No. You hair grows because of what you put inside your body....if you want growth, take vitamins. I grew up on a horse farm, so I know what it is, lol...

I've never heard of that but I might wanna try it now! I heard that coconut oil also helps your hair grow faster. I ride horses and I actually have tried the shampoo and conditioner for horses. It's not the best. You shouldn't buy it. Try the lengthening formula of "Garnier Fructis". And when you are almost done with your shower, soak your head with hot water, then qwikly turn it ice cold. It really makes your hair grow faster.

I'VE USED IT- NOT ANY MORE THEN ANY OTHER SHAMPOOS. DEPENDS ON THE HAIR AND TEXTURE- TRY PANTENE.

Who ever said that everytime you cut your hair it grows faster, needs to get their facts straight. Your hair, depending on what you eat, or what is put into your body, only grows about one fourth of an inch every month. I doubt this shampoo will help.
